Guise to FEMALE adulthood.

This is a heady gift for a graduate IF your graduate is a female. I ordered this after reading a feature in the magazine. Unfortunate, neither the article nor the book description alerts you to the fact that the book spend lots of time on make-up, lingerie, wardrobe. Will need to save this for my daughter. Next time I will look at the jacket more closely.

This is the perfect gift for the teen moving out on their own. All the stuff your mom does for you but is written out in easy instruction for you to do-it-yourself. Wish I would have had this when I went out on my own! If you have a 13, 14 or 15 year old, get this book and get them started on how to survive life and care for themselves and feel confident. You'll feel better about them being out there on their own in a few years!

Best book ever for young to us old folks

I purchased this for my great-niece that is graduating High school and going into the Army. I read thru it, oh my, I wish someone had given me a book like this when I graduated High School. Maybe they should offer a class in high school based on this book. So many life mistakes may not have happened. Thank you for such a great book. I'm ordering another book for my other niece that after 2 years of college has decided to join the Air Force. I even ordered one for my Kindle.

In every major city, there exists a complex exchange between urban space and the institution of the theatre. City Stages is an interdisciplinary and materialist analysis of this relationship as it has existed in Toronto since 1967. Locating theatre companies - their sites and practices - in Toronto's urban environment, Michael McKinnie focuses on the ways in which the theatre has adapted to changes in civic ideology, environment, and economy.

Over the past four decades, theatre in Toronto has been increasingly implicated in the civic self-fashioning of the city and preoccupied with the consequences of the changing urban political economy. City Stages investigates a number of key questions that relate to this pattern. How has theatre been used to justify certain forms of urban development in Toronto? How have local real estate markets influenced the ways in which theatre companies acquire and use performance space? How does the analysis of theatre as an urban phenomenon complicate Canadian theatre historiography?

McKinnie uses the St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts and the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts as case studies and considers theatrical companies such as Theatre Passe Muraille, Toronto Workshop Productions, Buddies in Bad Times, and Necessary Angel in his analysis. City Stages combines primary archival research with the scholarly literature emerging from both the humanities and social sciences. The result is a comprehensive and empirical examination of the relationship between the theatrical arts and the urban spaces that house them.

Use the online study guide

Worst "textbook" ever.
I wish zero stars was an option. This is the worst textbook I have ever used. I can only assume "teachers" choose it because it comes packaged with quizzes and tests and lectures so they don't have to do any work. The online study guide includes an outline that is far superior than each chapter for pulling out relevant information. There is nothing pulled out or emphasized as important in the chapters. If you are looking for a term enjoy reading the unpleasantly formatted text looking for it. Key information is nowhere to be found. I have never seen a textbook like this and it is a chore to use. Bought it for an online college class and the textbook was useless for open book quizzes and tests. The online study guide that is free to use was very helpful for the outline, but the other study tools like flashcards, etc were also terrible. Each chapter has one flashcard. Weak.
I am only writing this review to discourage other teachers from choosing garbage like this for their classes. Hopefully people will see this and not buy the book, but just use the online study guide.

More Than Just A Good Time

As introductory remarks in the "To The Reader" preceding the story, Butler, the author, states that at the end of the day her main purpose for writing hotwife novels is to "indulge in fantasy and have a good time." She definitely does a good job with that: this one has the stuff of hot fantasies and is a fun read and ultimately has a "feel-good" vibe. However, I think Butler sells herself short as she delves into a much deeper psychological drama and the story ultimately ends up being a love story (albeit not Hollywood sappy). Paddy, our first person narrator again deals with some emotional issues. What are the *real* reasons Jordan is doing what she is doing? Where is her heart in all of it? Do Patrick (Paddy) and Jordan still have an emotional connection? Is this a team effort? Paddy feels "out of control" but does he really just want to feel that bond or sense of partnership with Jordan whom he fears he may have lost? At one point Paddy states, "I just can't stand being so out of control...except that's what I want." There is a lot within that statement....there are issues of trust, emotional connection, power dynamic and sexual desire. So this novel is more than just a "feel-good quickie"....although it has some awesome "feel-good!"
My only criticism with this sequel is that something apparently happened with the editing in that it was subpar for this author. There were numerous typos, misspellings or missing words (beyond what is normal for this author). For example the final line: "I married an incredible women." That should have been a powerful line but it was ruined by the misspelling. Even worse, was a factual inconsistency. At about 23% of the book when describing a certain night out, Butler states, "Then she swirled something around on her fingers...and then I realized it was her panties." A short while later during the same chain of events (at about 26%) it's stated, "...she slid her panties down her legs." Paddy the prosecutor would surely grill Butler over this inconsistent detail and things like that irritate me. If you're a person who puts form over function or are a bit OCD the editing (or lack thereof) will surely annoy you.
Nonetheless this is a great story, a fun read, makes you think, and is very hot. So I recommend it and give it 5 stars!!

Lars Von Trier eat your heart out .....

This is a well written interesting and still quite light follow up to Well Laid Trap 1. Although it has decidedly heavier undertones then the first book it still maintains a bit of humor in the main two characters interactions. The couple are seriously flawed (actually kind of idiots really) but it's funny to read them trying to navigate swimming in these treacherous waters. There are a few great hot sexy scenes for the strokers and a bit of driveling (although funny if you know this character) self introspection from our protagonist for the self flagellating cucks too. Not really sure if the first book warranted a sequel as it seemed pretty much a self contained book to me but here it is and its quite good. Recommended !

Thoughtful conclusion

The largest surprise, is that Jordan had almost as many reservations as did Paddy. She was always asking "do we need to shut it down". The standard for the ladies in this scenario is just to keep going. Paddy for his past confessed that he had for too long taken Jordan for granted. Arnica, you are to be congratulated for exploring the real feelings of the two main characters. This story is hot, but for all the right reasons. The love that these two felt was definitely strengthened by this Trap!!!
